Our Behavioral Health Clinic offers mental and behavioral health services for adults, children, and teens. If you have been experiencing these emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, our professionals and services can help. Counseling, also called psychotherapy or therapy, allows you to talk to a licensed therapist who can help you address these uncomfortable experiences and learn new ways to deal with them.
This involves examining your emotions, relationships, and thought patterns. In psychoanalysis, you can expect to talk about anything on your mind to uncover patterns in thoughts or behavior that might be contributing to distress. Guided meditations and developing mindfulness practices can be powerful tools to support mental health. Apps like Calm and Headspace offer free trials and then paid versions afterward.
For its part, the American Counseling Association emphasizes that counselors who offer telebehavioral services must adhere to state licensing requirements. Many online therapy sites stress that all of their therapists are licensed. The medication + care counseling plan costs $80 for monthly video or phone sessions with a “care counselor” and the cost of medication delivery.
